Storytelling has long been part of the Hoop Dreaming journey.

In 2017, Hoop Dreaming collaborated with photographer and filmmaker Matthew Adekponya to direct and produce RISE – A PNG Basketball Story, a feature documentary capturing the journey of Papua New Guinea basketball and the people behind the game.
